This handsome Essex-Class WW2 aircraft carrier (1 of 24 of this class built during WW2) was named in honor of the previous 8 ships that were given the name Wasp with her of operation in the Pacific during WW2. She earned 8 battle stars for her service in the war.

The year 2020 marked the 75th Anniversary of the ending of World War 2. As a result Navy Crow developed 22 magnificent Warships Of World War 2 challenge coins with their original design and historical significance. The USS Wasp challenge coins features a beautiful renderings of this famous aircraft carrier. Seen from the starboard side you can see the marking 18 for its hull number CV-18 displayed on its flight deck.
A US flag, the ships silhouette from the sides and a top down view are also seen whereby you can see the ship’s elevators on the deck. 8 battle stars are seen at the top with a large star burst.
