For decades the US military design firms specializing in custom Navy challenge coins have come and gone. Many of them were in the industry for micro seconds while others took their time before they were gone. Life is about paying attention, learning and then seeing how and what can be improved. As a far younger company we had the opportunity to take a tour of the NWTM facility in Nevada and sat down in Reno over a lunch with their owner. They wanted to buy us and we thought it about it and then thought about it again and realized we were really into something. What exactly was the question? For such a large challenge coin company to want to buy us so early in our careers meant they saw something in us. As it would be discovered they wanted our art and our artistic ability when it came to military art and custom challenge coin design.
We said no thank you. For more than obvious reasons later we are glad we made the call but it was a good learning lesson. Since that time we stuck to our strong points and kept designing the top and highest quality challenge coins in the industry and have enjoyed the wonderful experience our design team has had over the years with the US Armed Forces.
Personalized Engraved Challenge Coins
After the end of NWTM there was a vacuum when it came to custom engraved challenge coins and we filled the void quickly. The process started with the creation of more than a dozen personalized coins that gave our customers the ability to have whatever they wanted to add to their coins. From an anniversary date, command, military unit, warship, submarine, squadron, military reunion, retirement date, branch of service, or a short message for a friend are only a few things we have diamond etched on these coins over the years. The options are endless.
