This very special coin marks the anniversary of working military dogs going back to World War 2 and 1942. Designed with a German shepherd, the letters K9, critical words from “My ears are your ears” and “To Hear Evil Minds In The Darkness” are also displayed. “My nose is your nose, to scent the invader of your domain and so that you may live, my life is also yours” is quoted as an important reminder the relationship between man and dog. This is a veteran coin for both. At the bottom are two stars one for each partner and a dog paw print. Fashioned from antique gold and silver metal accents and a deep hand painted red enamel this is a coin for collecting.
